Custom Shipping Zones for Your Store
We implemented a geographic shipping zones system in checkout. Each carrier can now be configured to operate only in specific regions (state, city, or suburb). When your customer enters their destination, the system automatically detects it, compares it against the configured zones, and filters out carriers that don't cover that area — before making the quote.
Benefits
- Your customer only sees valid shipping options for their destination from the first attempt.
- Fewer failed quotes and less friction in the checkout process.
- Each carrier operates in its corresponding zones, without mixing coverages.
Note
Carriers without a configured zone continue to appear for all destinations as before. If all carriers are restricted and none covers the destination, the checkout will show a message that no options are available for that zone.
